SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

The Hamilton Police Athletic League (PAL) is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for graduating seniors who reside in Hamilton Township and participated in the PAL. A total of six (6) scholarships will be awarded ranging from $1,500 to $500. The Hamilton PAL Board of Directors will evaluate all of the scholarship applications and select the recipients.

To qualify for the scholarships a student must meet the following requirements:

• Be a graduating senior with intentions to attend a college or university after high school;

• Have participated in a Hamilton PAL sponsored program such as Safety Town, Boys and Girls T-Ball, Cheerleading, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Twirling, Wrestling, Bowling, Girls Field Hockey, Football or Street Hockey;

• Have demonstrated a commitment to academic achievement and personal growth in high school through academic performance, participation in athletics, extracurricular activities and/or community service.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the PAL Board of Directors based on the application, high school transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, recommendation letters and personal interviews. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Applications will open in March.
